Augusta Custom Clubs and Swing Analysis

The Makefield putter that Dan fit me for, then balanced to my stroke, has been great! I feel dialed in over every putt since every stroke feels repeatable and constant with what I need it to do. An additional win, in the future if my stoke changes Dan can help me get it dialed in again thanks to the multitude of adjustable weight ports.

Found Augusta Custom Clubs through a Google search. Contacted Dan to fit and build me a set of single length shaft irons + new driver and 5W. He took the time necessary to match my physical size, weight and age with the perfect combination of shaft flex, head weight and balance. Now getting 15-20 yards more distance, with more loft, across all irons, and better overall contact with every club. Would highly recommend Augusta Custom Clubs for anyone looking to improve their game. Several friends I play with every week have already asked me for Dan's contact info.

Wanted to provide an update. I absolutely love my new custom iron set….They look and feel great. There has been an Instant improvement in my iron game……..Dan did an amazing job from start to finish with my iron fitting. He was very professional and personable. He spent ample time and had a lifetime of great stories to tell. The addition of the functional movement testing and the training program to go along with the testing was the cherry on top. Thank you Dan.

Drove from Eatonton GA because I thought I would get custom clubs vice name brand clubs “tuned” to my swing. Excellent choice! Dan walked me through the entire fitting process, explaining each step in detail. Made each step easily understandable. I hit ball after ball, over 100 balls using his Skytrack launch monitor to see the results of each ball I hit. Using the launch monitor he tweaked the shaft and head of the club to fit me. As he adjusted the club to fit me he also pointed out some swing flaws that I had. Overall a fantastic experience. I ended up getting the single length clubs. My sand wedge through 6-iron are all the length of a standard 7-iron. Dan said it would take a few rounds to get used to them and he was right. I have played about 5 rounds with the new clubs and my iron play has notably improved. You just learn the same stance, setup etc for each club. Helps tremendously with consistency. I did have problems with the shaft of one club, the club snapped while hitting it. I contacted Dan who contacted the shaft manufacturer and I got a new shaft and all is well. Again I think you will be quite happy if you give Dan a chance.

Excellent experience with Dan and Augusta Custom Clubs. Their services really are a relationship. I started out with a few lessons, where I learned about my natural swing style and the fundamentals behind it. His aim wasn't to modify or "fix" existing bad habits, but to teach the why behind the right way, and how to practice it. Lessons over a year evolved into an eventual custom iron fitting, and Dan worked hard to get me an excellent product in my budget. I am playing my best golf ever, and love the game more and more!
